New Piece

This is kind of a prologue thing for something I'm wring. I promise the real thing is better than the prologue. You know the drill: honest feedback please!!!!

That summer really wasn't supposed to be special. Just the same. But it turned into the days we would never forget. The people we changed. The places we went. The wounds we healed. It all came together. I don't even think we all realized it until a while later. Even now, at 20 years old, I write this remembering what I did right, and very wrong.

Hey ya'll! So, I wanted to share a poem with you guys. Once again, please provide honest feedback. Poetry is not my strong suit, but I gave it a try. I kind of forced the rhyme scheme a little. If it sucks PLEASE tell me :)


The single chord haunted
my mind.
Like the soundtrack to the tragedy,
making me blind.
Through the tears on my face
I tried to smile,
but the phony imitation
stretched the mile.
You can still see the face
of the person you lost
and what they said
before they left.

Charley Bates

Hey guys! I got this idea from a dream, and I wrote it down at like two in the morning...so...

Charley Bates sat baking in the Los Angeles sun. He couldn't quite
figure out why he had decided not to apply sun screen that morning.
His whole day up to that point had been such a blur anyway, the
deciphering of inadequate morning rituals seemed futile. His thoughts
paused; he didn't know his vocabulary expanded to include words like
"decipher" or "Inadequate". He was, after all, only 10. He turned his
attention back to the man at the table across from him. The man
fascinated Charley partially because he was wearing a giant black
overcoat and a matching umbrella, but also because he had been
staring at Charley for the past half hour.


Please give me some honest feedback. I don't know if this story is ever going to go anywhere, but, I appreciate it!

Hey guys...I owe you an apology. I know it's been a while.

So my mom and I are currently in New York! We've been having a whole lot of fun! We've seen a couple shows, and if you're lucky, I might put a review on the theatre geeks blog! Well, I need to go get ready for Chicago...talk to ya'll later!

My adventures in the land of leiderhosen

Yes, it's true. I tried on some Sound fo Music costumes. Most of them were leiderhosen. All of them came up to mid-thigh. Me and Drew spent the day pitying ourselves. It's gonna be a looonnnngggg tech week. :)

Right Now

At this current moment:

I: just g0t finished with a 24 season 2 marathon! What a great show. I hear season 6 was bad though. Jack Bauer shot a dog with a shotgun. Woo!

Tonight: I'm going to see Little Shop at BDT...again...I will post a review on theatre nerds blog. It's so good! You guys should all definitely try to get tickets!

Sound of Music: Is gonna be awesome! Kids have so many costumes! It's gonna be incredible. I think our set is going to be pretty good too!

Pirate Island Meeting: Was filled with 7th grade boys. I really hope we get some female interest.

Youthgroup tonight

So, tonight we talked about friends at youthgroup. And I realized that I have so many good friends whom I love with all my heart.

It's great to know you have people who you can falll back on!
